The Nine Minute Prayer Project



The Biblical Premise for the Nine minute Prayer Project is Matthew 22 vs 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. In paraphrase, the priority of the text direct love's priority is (1) to love God, (2) to love self, and (3) to love others; God, Self, Others. The Nine Minute Prayer Projects practices the following format: Minute Number One - Prayer Expression honoring and loving God, the Creator, the All in All. 30 Seconds Silent Meditation Minute Number Two - Prayer Expression honoring and loving self. One cannot offer to others what one does not possess. Loving God and Loving Self are prerequisite to loving others. 30 Seconds Silent Meditation Minute Number Three - Prayer Expression honoring and loving others sharing the time of prayer together. 30 Seconds Silent Meditation		The Message says in Matthew 22 vss 37 - 40 it like this: 37. Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence. 38. This is the most important and the first on my list. 39. But there is a second to set alongside it: Love others as well as you love yourself. 40. These two commands are pegs; everything in God's law and the prophets hangs on them." Minute Number Four - Prayer Expression honoring and loving family; ancestors, elders, immediate and extended family. 30 Seconds Silent Meditation Minute Number Five - Prayer Expression honoring and loving others and the Earth; all others, those who have been kind and loving as well as those that have not. 30 Seconds Silent Meditation Minute Number Six - A Final Prayer Expression honoring and loving God, the Creator, the All in All.
